Access Keys

Access Keys allow keyboard-only navigation

Access keys allow you to navigate the Sheffield Occuaptional Health and Safety Association Website without using your mouse.

They can be used to jump directly to different sections and certain areas within a page, without having to move your mouse at all. The main idea of these access keys are to improve website accessibility - especially for users of non-visual browsers or anyone who may be visually impaired.

These access key assignments have been chosen to meet best practice across the web, are similar to UK government standards, remain consistant with other popular sites' - including www.hse.gov.uk; and give optimimum navigation for the requirements of our users at the Sheffield Occupational Health and Safety Association website.
