Prevention of Slips and Trips

Karl Ward, from Surefoot, will present about prevention of slips on any surface and environment and illustrates some typical types of problems and solutions. Karl's presentation includes new legislation relating to HSE requirements and explains the accepted methods of slip testing - including a demonstration of the new type of slip assessment tool.

First Aid Regulations Update

John Chapman, from Training Ventures Ltd, will present an overview of the changes to the First Aid Regulations and what this means to health and safety professionals. This guest presentation will also cover potential pitfalls of the changes and how these can be avoided, a discussion over why the regulations have been changed and details of how First Aid Training will be affected - including changes to the course.
