Does anyone know of a good source (free) of standard safety sign clipart. I don't want to reproduce the signs, just put them in various documents like handbooks etc for employees.

Sorry Chris - I've been after sign icons/images as well for some publications and codes of practice we are putting together - especially various PPE signs. I had also asked the question, but didn't have any joy with responses (original post >> PPE Symbols/Images for Documentation), so please let me know if you get anywhere with this.

As the Codes of Practice will be published professionally I was also concerned about any copyright of these images - would you know anything about the copyright status?

Thanks,

Phil

Yeah, I saw that post and how old it was without a reply. Doing my bit to try and keep things fresh. How about at meetings having a box with slips called 'The question that I would really like answered about safety and health is...." I know we wouldn't get that many, I'm realistic, but it could be a start. We could do them at the seminar too, by which time we could have given them some profile.

We have to take the initiative here and try as many schemes as possible. it won't happen without our energy.

Hi there

I may have the odd safety sign that is used in my training courses but not many.

I am happy to put them into one word document and will send them to you direct.

Basically if I need any signs I tend to search on 'google' under images and tend to copy & paste them - you do have to be a bit picky though as some do not copy very well.

Tracey - just a tip that might help - if you find images online that you'd like to use just right-click the image and then select "Save Image As..." or similar Wink

Could you possibly email any signs you have to me as well?

If we check the copyright situation we could start up a central source for such material here on www.sohsa.org.uk Smile

Hi

I also have some software, so if there are any that you are particularly looking for I can put them onto a word document for you
