Hi there
Is anyone going through the IPD process? If so are you aware Mentors are available to help you through this - contact IOSH for more details and your local contact.
If you have gone through the process and had your portfolio accepted would you be happy for other SOHSA members to ask your advice?
As a SOHSA member currently trying to put together the IPD portfolio any hlep/advice is always gratefully received.
Tracey

I am in full agreement with Tracey on this one. I to am trying to get IPD sorted but what with committments at work and, believe it or not, a home life after Diploma, it would be great to get comments from other members
It would be great if we could establish a group that could work together to get members through this stage to become full members

IOSH are periodically doing 'drop in' sessions in and around the UK.
The nearest location for us is Sheffield, also have on in Nottingham.. Its a good point of call for understanding and developing your CPD archive.
They also have mentors that are available to guide you throught the whole process including advice regarding the professional peer review

East Midlands Branch are holding a session in January 2011, in Nottingham, for those who are going through the IPD/open book assessment/peer review interview process.
I have also just gone through the SDP/peer interview process so if anyone wishes to ask me any questions feel free to contact me on t.stubbs@sohsa.org.uk.
