Before I go out to obtain assistance in monitoring the fumes produced during stainless steel mig welding, are there any members who have the monitoring equipment within their armoury. So I can appoint a colleague rather than a stranger. I do not have the equipment for this task, hence the 'outsourcing' on this occasion

Sorry that we haven't been able to get a response for you on this one. Sometimes it's handy if people post a reply saying "Sorry, no". That way at least you know that someone's out there.

On that note sorry, I can't help you either. As a retailer, we don't so a lot of fume sampling, I'm afraid. I would suggest that this has been done before and that's it's unlikely to be a great mystery. One of our Members - Chris Mills from CTI may be able to help you - sampling metals is their business. They're only in Sheffield
