Mobile Tower Scaffold Training | Work at Height | MEWP

Hi there

Does anyone know any companies that provide training for users of mobile tower scaffolds in the Derby area.

It is only for one or two people in a company that use mobile tower scaffolds to erect signs.

Euro Towers Ltd have helped us out with demonstrations in the past. You could try Jason Woods on 01604 644774.

Sorry folks rather late on this response, but you can contact IPAF directly and get a list of approved training providers in your area. IPAF is a standard not a legal requirement. But if you want the job doing well and benefit from the training being 'underwritten' then using a national accreditation scheme is a really go idea.

The law says that operators must be competent. This does not mean that they MUST go on an accredited course, but it certainly stops a lot of arguments if they do.

Sorry Tracey, I also meant to mention PASMA - the Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers' Association; who have establish a range of training to ensure competency.
