"Remove the Burden" - 2008 SOHSA Conference
The Annual SOHSA Conference 2008, to be held on the 14th October 2008, will focus on the common-sense approach to Occupational Health & Safety and features three themed sessions, each with a variety of exciting speakers and presentations. At only £75, this is a exciting and unique opportunity to hear from Health & Safety Professionals and Regulators as well as Legal and Insurance Experts to reduce the paperwork burden on your business and make your Health & Safety Systems more effective, whilst removing any short-falls that can lay hidden in safety management systems.
The first session, "you only know how good you are when it all goes wrong", will give examples of common short-falls and scenarios where systems fail - with examples from the insurance, regulator and legal perspectives. The second session "Building Foundations" will focus on the purpose of risk assessment, assessing where you stand and building solid foundations. The day will end with the third and final session "Selling & Communicating the Safety Message" - how to get your message across to all levels and achieve buy-in.
