The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is in the process of revising work at height guidance and is inviting feedback on proposed revisions to the following two key guidance documents: INDG401 'Work at Height - A brief guide to the law' and INDG455 'Safe use of Ladders and Step Ladders – An employer’s guide' (formerly INDG402&3). Draft revisions of these two documents are available: Draft INDG401: Working at height - A brief guide to the law Draft INDG455: Safe use of ladders and stepladders employers guide Interested parties can access copies of the latest draft versions of both of these publications through the online community at http://webcommunities.hse.gov.uk/connect.ti/wahquest/view?objectId=30739. HSE’s intended target audience is smaller business and those who undertake occasional 'low level' work at height (for example in retail and warehousing) and use ladders, stepladders and steps. To provide feedback, please complete the short online questionnaire on community webpage. The closing date for completing the questionnaire is Friday, 25 January 2013. HSE aim to publish the revised publications by April 2013.
